A spokeswoman for International Game Technology said the jackpot had been building for three years among the Megabucks slots machines, a series of electronically linked progressive machines, which offer a jackpot that increases incrementally with each bet.
Josephine Crawford played a nickel slot machine for about 10 minutes and won $10,010,113.48, a casino spokesman said.
